Diego Winegardner is a Partner at Eldridge Capital Management. Mr. Winegardner has over 30 years of experience in the alternative asset management industry, and most recently served as Strategic Advisor to CAIS, the leading alternative investment platform for the independent RIA and IBD marketplace and advised on CAIS’s $50m Series B financing. Prior to CAIS, Mr. Winegardner was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners where, as Head of Guggenheim Fund Solutions, he was responsible for overall management of a $2 billion institutional fund solutions business and UCITS platform. Additionally, he led the build out of Guggenheim Japan, a subsidiary business, which later grew to approximately $18 billion in AUM. Earlier in his career, Mr. Winegardner co-founded PlusFunds, where he built the alternative industry’s first independent hedge fund managed account platform and established distribution globally, raising over $3 billion in AUM for participating GPs. Prior to PlusFunds, Mr. Winegardner allocated capital to emerging hedge fund managers at a Fund of Funds inside a multi-family office. He received his B.S. from Cornell University.
