Its premium environmentally friendly, cost-competitive products are created in partnership with the supply chain for global retailers and brands, offering a sustainable solution to achieve full circularity.

With a 75-year long history in the textile industry, Recover™ is the largest producer of recycled cotton worldwide and is on a mission to enable large-scale sustainable change in fashion through business value and inspiration. Recover™ fiber can be used for a broad array of applications, most notably apparel, accessories and home textiles, and is suitable for both rotor and ring spinning applications.

Recover™ aims to transform the apparel and textile industries by solving one of the world’s biggest environmental issues, which is the massive detrimental environmental impact of apparel production and consumption. The adverse environmental impact of the apparel industry is staggering, and the industry is lagging behind its climate action commitments and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By strategically partnering with brands/retailers, Recover™ allows the industry to meet its sustainability targets and lead in carbon reduction, water savings, quality consistency and traceability.

Recover™ recycles industrial and pre- and post-consumer cotton waste, replacing the need to cultivate cotton, limiting the use of dyes and reducing textile landfill waste. According to Higg MSI, Recover™ recycled cotton fiber outperforms generic recycled cotton fiber and other competitors in the Global Warming, Water Scarcity and Resource Depletion categories.

Recover™ has entered a strategic partnership with STORY3 Capital, who along with the support of Eldridge, has enabled their total shredding capacity to reach 84,300 metric tons per year globally, translating to approximately 2.74 billion t-shirts on an annual basis, and still growing. According to Recover™ LCA Spain & LCA Bangladesh verified by EcoReview (2022, 2025), this production capacity can save up to 178 billion liters of water each year.
