A24 has taken bold, unprecedented steps to amplify the transformative power of storytelling through a series of initiatives rooted in the Oscar nominated and critically acclaimed film Sing Sing. On January 17, the film returned to theaters nationwide while also becoming the first major theatrical release made simultaneously available to nearly a million incarcerated individuals across the U.S., thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) and Edovo, a digital learning platform for incarcerated people. This historic dual release transforms Sing Sing from a cinematic experience into a tool for education, reflection, and rehabilitation inside correctional facilities. Further extending this mission, A24 also presented a live performance of The Mummy’s Code—the original stage production that inspired the film—at Off-Broadway’s New York Theatre Workshop directed by Brent Buell and performed by the original cast of formerly incarcerated actors alongside guest performers made possible through partnerships with RTA, The Just Trust, and New York Theatre Workshop, the event culminated in a powerful Q&A with the cast and Buell, underscoring A24’s commitment to storytelling as a force for change both on screen and in the real world.

One Beverly Hills is a transformative 17.5-acre mixed-use development at the heart of Beverly Hills, designed with sustainability and wellness at its core. This significantly reduces energy demand and carbon emissions.

The entire 10-acre landscape, master planned by Foster + Partners and curated by landscape architect RIOS, will be 100% water sustainable.

By leveraging collected rainwater and recycled greywater, the irrigation system will conserve millions of gallons of water annually. The gardens, a tribute to the site’s past as the Beverly Hills Nursery, will showcase over 200 native and water-wise plant species in shaded, walkable spaces, water features, and over 2 miles of pathways.

The new 1.375 million square feet of buildings will be constructed using recycled, low embodied carbon, and low-toxicity materials, including debris recycled from demolished structures. The entire development is designed to promote multimodal mobility, with walkable pathways, integrated bike lanes, and an extensive EV charging infrastructure in the underground parking areas.

The building elevations and façades are designed with shading to minimize sun exposure and evaporation, incorporate natural ventilation, and utilize thermal massing to enhance energy efficiency. Additionally, materials with low embodied carbon and low toxicity have been carefully selected, underscoring the project’s focus on environmental responsibility from structure to finish.
