Jon Jacobson is a Director at Eldridge Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Jacobson was a Portfolio Manager, IG Corporate Credit at Security Benefit. Mr. Jacobson supports the origination, underwriting, portfolio management, and trading functions across the IG corporate credit and asset-based finance strategies. Prior to joining Security Benefit, he worked at the Federal Loan Home Bank of Des Moines (FHLB) leading a Capital Markets Analytics Team. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jacobson served as the Head of Public IG Corp Credit Research and Senior Investment Analyst at American Equity Life Insurance, supporting the insurance company’s general account investments. He began his career in commercial banking, where he originated and underwrote direct lending opportunities. Mr. Jacobson has 20 years of investment and financial services experience. He received his B.S. in Finance and Banking from Buena Vista University and his M.S. in Financial Management from Drake University. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa.
