Karthik Balasubramaniam is a Managing Director at Eldridge Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Balasubramaniam was Co-Head of Derivatives at Security Benefit. He leads the Derivatives trading function, overseeing index hedging, interest rates hedging, and currency hedging, while also implementing additional derivatives strategies as required. Prior to joining Security Benefit, Mr. Balasubramaniam was the Head of Quantitative Modeling in Athene’s FIA hedging front office. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Manager in Product Development for insurance policy administration systems at Oracle. Karthik received his M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Cincinnati. He is also a CFA charterholder.
