Leo van den Thillart is a Partner and Global Head of Capital Formation at Eldridge Capital Management. He brings over two decades of leadership experience across alternative asset management, spanning real assets, private equity, secondaries, and private credit, with deep expertise in both institutional and wealth distribution channels. Mr. van den Thillart has a proven track record in strategy, capital formation, fundraising, business development, and product innovation. Prior to joining Eldridge, he served as Global Head of Investment Banking at CBRE, following its acquisition of Brookfield Financial/Sera Global, where he was Chief Executive Officer. Previously, he was Managing Partner and Global Head of the Private Funds Group at Brookfield Asset Management, where he played an instrumental role in scaling the platform to over $300 billion in AUM, launching more than 35 offerings, and significantly expanding Brookfield’s global investor base. Earlier in his career, he was Global Co-Head of Private Funds at Bear Stearns/J.P. Morgan and Co-Founder of Crane Capital Associates, which Bear Stearns acquired.
