Patrick Aleo is a Senior Associate at Eldridge Capital Management. Previously, Dr. Aleo was a Senior Data Scientist at Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) where he led the design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI/ML and data science solutions supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations in a highly regulated national security environment. Prior to Honeywell FM&T, Dr. Aleo received his Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he specialized in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models for classification, anomaly detection, and similarity search of supernovae (exploding stars) in wide-field time-domain astronomical surveys; one discovery led to the classification of a new stellar explosion and widespread media coverage. He also received his B.S. Astronomy and B.S. Physics from The University of Texas at Austin. He has expertise in translating complex, domain-specific problems into scalable AI/ML solutions across probabilistic models, deep learning systems, and real-time and batch inference pipelines.
